Jacqueline Benitez is a newcomer at Manati

Atenienses de Manati (BSNF) have added 26-year-old Puerto Rican-American international 178cm guard Jacqueline Benitez (college: JMU) to their roster for the 2024 season. Benitez, who played for Explosivos de Moca last summer, averaged 11.4ppg, 3.6rpg, and 1.0apg in 19 BSNF games, helping her team reach the semifinals. She was voted to the Puerto Rican BSNF All-Star Game, marking a very successful season in her career.
She also represented Puerto Rico at the Olympic Games Pre-Qualifying Tournament in Medellin (Colombia) last year. Her stats at that event were 2 games: 3.5 ppg.
She has also played professionally in Lithuania (Siauliai).
She won the Puerto Rican BSNF championship title in 2022. She received the All-CAA Sixth Player of the Year award in 2019.
She graduated from James Madison University in 2020 and it will be her fifth season in pro basketball. She also played for Siena College for 3 years.
